Zoran Petrovic, Ph.D.
Dr. Zoran Petrovic received his B. Eng. at the Faculty of Technology, Belgrade University, Yugoslavia, and Ph.D. at the Strathclyde University, Glasgow. He worked in electrical industry for 12 years on problems of application of polymers in electrical insulation. From industry he moved to the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, Yugoslavia, where he taught Physical Chemistry of Polymers. He spent three years at the Polymer Science and Engineering Department, University of Massachusetts, at Amherst, working on different research projects. He started Kansas Polymer Research Center and was Research Director until his recent partial retirement. He is currently Senior Research Advisor at Kansas Polymer Research Center (KPRC) and Professor of Polymer Technology at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas. He has published over 140 papers, 3 books, 13 book chapters and has 15 patents. His special interests are polyurethanes, bio-based polymers, networks and gels, blends and polymer characterization.
