Olivera Bilic, Research Associate

Olivera Bilic received her Bachelor of Engineering degree in Polymeric Material Engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. In 2010, she received Master of Science in Chemistry at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas. In 2009, while still pursuing her Master’s degree, Olivera joined KPRC in the capacity of a student Research assistant. In 2011, she became a full-time Research associate. Her field of research includes synthesis and analytic and instrumental characterization of vegetable oil-based polymers, synthesis of bio-based polyols for polyurethane foams and polyurethanes by non-isocyanate route. Olivera has participated in the research projects founded by the Department of Agriculture, the United Soybean Board and the Kansas Soybean Commission. The results of her work were presented, as co-author, in several research publications.
